On spring break I'm gonna be driving on I-5 from oregon through california, then get off I-5 at bakersfield I think, to las vegas, to phoenix, and back to lame *** oregon. Where on this drive can I find an area like in the pics wrx ish posted, or where else should I stop for that matter...

the place where my pictures were taken were in Jean nevada. if you are going to vegas then you will drive right by it. you will be coming up I-15 from barstow. once you get into nevada, the second city you hit is Jean. exit there go east. at the stop sign turn left and go for about 2 miles. turn right onto a dirt road. you know its the right one if it goes under the railroad about 1/4 mile or so down the road. just follow that out and you hit the dry lake bed. you can't miss it

Thanks for the directions- I'll definitely hit that up if I can convince my brother and girlfriend that we can waste some time. This'll be hard considering we'll be so close to Vegas...
