They don't go with the car. Almost look like Chrome.
Rota's aren't JDM....that's why there is hate.
They are cheaper in price and have had some issues early on with their strength.
When I bought my 02 (in 05) it already had some Rota's on it.
I am happy with them. Very reasonably priced and there are some really good looking wheels in their line up.

I notice that many australian compact import owners have very different tastes in wheels (more the ornate/blingy/dub style) n rims from most american compact owners (prefer the race oriented JDM or euro style ).

24 replies and everyone said to get rid of them. The taste for wheels over here is a little bit different. The one major difference here compared to the States is that not many people have coloured rims here ie black, bronze. I get the impression that the majority of wrx's over there have some sort of coloured rims. Is that a fair assumption? The reason i got the rims is because i though they didn't look too bad at the start. However after looking at my car every ten minutes over the weekend i tought they didn't suit. Also i got them for AUD$260 per rim, down from AUD$470. A good deal but if they don't suit your car they are useless. A leason well learnt. Thanks for everyones help. New ones this weekend. Will keep you posted.
