Project Pinion - Silver 2002 WRX
Project

Current Mods:
Appearance/functional stuff:
Subaru 4 pot front brakes.
Prodrive muffler
Prodrive intake
Prodrive springs.
Prodrive headlights
Prodrive P1 wheels (18" x 7.5")
Perrin light weight pully wheel
Cobb AccessPORT - Stage 1 reflash
V7 STi grill
V7 STi hood scoop
OEM Leather Seats
Future Plans: A.K.A. stuff I do not have but want
STi top mount intercooler
VF39 turbo
Repaint side mirrors black (like the Spec C)
STi spoiler
How it all Started...
I purchased 2002 WRX in June 04. It had almost 40,000 miles on the odometer. The mid west used Subaru market is somewhat limited. Therefore, I got the one used WRX I could find in the area at the time.
I acquired these pics off the dealership’s web site.

It came with leather. When it is nice (between 60-80 outside), I like the solid black.

Two pics I always liked.

The grain of the 2 megapixel make it artistic.

---------------------------------------------------
The first modifications I decided on: STi V7 grill and hood scoop.

One of my fog lights broke so I just took them off. That dumb idea last for about a month. If it was a Type RA that would have been a different story.
Here's a pic of a “Subaru”less trunk.

I tried to do the “cook it in the oven and repaint the headlight” trick, but that plan didn't work.

Tell you what, that’s the last time I work on the car when I’m drunk...
In a rush to get parts that were not melted, I ordered crappy e-bay knock offs.

I had to make the wireing harness and a weather gasket from scratch. Last time I buy crappy knock offs.
Because, I wanted to at the time, I painted them Gunmetal.

Nothing else on the car was that color, why did I do that?

I've been away from I-club for a while and this thread needed an update, so here's how she looks as of July 06. I still have a stock EJ20, but I got my headlight light problem worked out, and while at it I aquired some springs. Both are by Prodrive

Me likes the GT4.

shhhh, don't tell anyone but my hood is kinda borked near RH headlight
