yea he left a hole in the dirt from that, i didnt see any steam or smoke so maybe he only broke the intercooler and lost turbo presure

According to www.rimoftheworldrally.com the Evo 8 of Seamus Burke retired due to transmission failure. At first they claimed that the intercooler and radiator had been pushed into the engine.
