Recaro A8's

Just got the back of the seats back from the painter this morning and put them all back together. I just can't wait for the brackets to come in for the one seat (you can see one is sitting higher than the other!!!)

Just thought i would let you guys see the new seats going in. Got these on a killer deal from a side job, ive been told there are about only 400 of these seats ever made...guess that kinda makes them rare!

Those look SICK!

Very, very nice. I assume they are leather and not vinyl correct?

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you get them for and how much do they regularly run?

i did a side job for a friend and he had these sitting in his garage from a prior car. They were a little banged up, but i gave them some TLC and now they are just as good as new! As for the actual price, i have seen people sell these seats from Europe for about $2500-$3000 and they are used. There were only 400 of these seats ever made in the world so they are hard to get ahold of. I have seen people sell these same type of seats completly redone and refurbished the way they should be and sell them for around $3500-$4000!

those are very nice seats- very nice- my only concern would be the stitching on the back. but then again- most buckets generally do not have a long life if used as a daily driver(hence why i need new buckets already).......
+1 for nice recaros.

A8

looks great, good job with the painting.
You need the reclaining *****, it seems they're not attached / missing.

Let me know you're address I will send you some in an envelope (just to make the seats 100% perfect).

The new A8 (successor) will be available very soon. We show the new seat first time at the IAA in Frankfurt but the A8 you have is THE SEAT.

If you want to have something really special, the SPX (STI OEM seat in Japan) is also available in the US very soon.
Down side - really theight (it's designed for the Japan market)

Costs: $5000 per seat shipped to your place
why so expensive?
Ultra light wheight / Ultra low seat position
Super stiff seat structure like a pro racing seat
Leather in OEM color
Plug'n Play with adapters with belt buckle etc.
Limited to 50 sets!

A8

The A8 was a pure aftermarket seat without an OEM background.

The SPX is the S203 OEM seat in Japan which we make available (limited) in the USA.

Also a new edition is the SPORT PP1 and PP2.
