Project Blue

INTRO

Project Blue is a 2002 Bugeye. I got her as a wreck, April of 2007 form a local wrecking yard.

PART 1

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get some pix of the major frontal make-over, new front rails, radiator support, jdm fenders (trimmed), oem hood, etc., just to sum-up the list. However, this is where I am at.

Part 2 Valve Train

The Valve Train is relatively off-the-shelf, all of which came from Brian Crower Inc.

Stage 3 280/280 degree int/ex STI cams

High-comp Valves (inconel exhaust valves)

Brass valve guides

Some teaser pics of the STI Head

The Heads were enhanced by both Alaniz Technologies and Hasselgren Engineering.

The plan was to just to restore the car and be a daily driver and weekend track beater. But I decided to just go all out.

Exxxccelllent. Exxxxccceelllllent.

But seriously, that cage means business. What's the powertrain going to look like when finished? And the suspension?

I'm in the process of installing the suspension system and brakes. I'll update this thread as often. Thanks

I can't seem to find the flow chart that came in with the head. But Alaniz does flow test the heads before and after. I've seen the guides ground out in drag set-ups. I had them leave the guides for a peace-of-mind feeling. I might consider the later on the next engine.
