much like I said, 100 of you probably already saw this. But for those of you that havn't, here you go. I dedicate stage 4, to all the people who had to watch every car in japan get stomped by the 86. Stage 5, it's our turn, and this is a small sample.

yea seen that episode this weekend... he should have know it was his dad when he did the usual tire in the ditch trick.. tach finally got beat on akina.... by a WRX.

that's not just a sti either, it's a 22b.

Bunta wouldn't drive something normal, he put a freaking track 20v 4ag sivler top in a 86 for poops sake.

If all those cars couln't beat him in a corolla, they are going to have to bring in F16's to try to beat him in a 22b.

its not a 22B, although it does have the 22B looking front bumper, the 22B has bigger wider fenders and an adjustable spoiler, and that car has basic WRX wheels, the 22B had BBS spider style. It even has the old school WRX logo on the back where the normal S U B A R U logo is on the 22B.

 

i thought it was a 22b too.. unless subaru made something else with 2 doors on a WRX frame?

 

well you do know that animating every detail on a car is very hard. They do a very good job of cars and engines. But I think with the wing style, and the general look of the car, it's going to turn out to be a 22b. Just my guess. Much like I've said if you follow the story, Bunta isn't the type to be rocking a normal Gc8 STI. That's just my opinion, so if the animated depiction isn't as correct, then so be it. The 86 has an Atlantic series 20v that revs to 11k. Plus we've only seen the car from a roll, it might be played down to animate easier, when the car is parked they will go into more detail.

 

its wrx sti type r not a 22b acording to the manga's

 

yeah, and in the game its that gorgeous black/granite pearl mica that the Type R's come in, not regular blue
