It's definitely photoshopped. Look at where the door line should be, and there aren't any handles. Also look at the wing and rear lights, they must have lost interest back there, got pretty sloppy. Whoever did the chop still is mean though.

You're right, it's real. The pic in this thread is definitely not real though. They might have put a quick chop together just to see what it would look like before they actually did it. Sad

Just had to say a coupple of words about this STI. u have to be russian to get the poin of doing that. the characters that are drawn they are from the civil war in russia (communist vs tsar pple) and there are millions of jokes about these characters represented on the car. don't get me wrong i would NEVER do that to my STI but i have to admit the paint job is marvelous. Now back to explaning russians (since i am one of them I would like to say that NOT ALL OF US are like that painting on ladas some comrad **** and drive around lol. I think this guy has to much money and i bet this is not his even 4th car coz spend 50k USD on STI (russian price) + 10k on the paint job is fairly crazy money in russain sence. So for him this STi is ppbly more like a toy (an RC car for example).
Now to show russians from a good side, I am, as a mechanical engineer (my last semester
, and simply as a subaru fan, gonna show some cool wind tunnel testing performed on EVO7 and STI so when u take off that spoiler or put some after market one make sure u know how is that going to affect ur car high speed stablity (function of lift, drag etc). Remeber audi TT had some high speed crashes so they recalled the car and added a spoiler (and some other miscelenius ****) to improve that lift froce on the back and lift force distribution in general. Btway none of n.american's magazines do these kind of testing and this is sad. I open performance car magazines and what i see is they talk about car and what they have installed into that, and how cool it looks or and that almost naked asian chick with big boos is a must. how that affects the car (no test data on these add ons) no one really knows (from proffecional point of view). i see teenageers after whatching crap like fast and furious, put tons of spoilers and think their are invincible and as a result theyy kill themselves and that is sad...

this is how u decide what spoiler to put on ur car!
this data is for 144 km/hr incoming speed.
some side notes:
1. the reason the evo has to different values is 'coz evo's spoiler is adjustable by 7 degrees if i am not mistaken.
2. "H" stands for Newtons in russian so if u devide this # by 9.81 u'll find KG that act on the car
as u can see subaru lift distribution is very even and more faivorable then the EVos.
and here is another one for the dinner:

i think that paint job is awesome! And i dont mean awesome in a good way, really. Awesome how monty python is awesome - as in totally absurd. Its so retarded that it makes me laugh. I mean, imagine what it would look like if i painted george washington crossing the delaware on the side of my STI, you wouldnt know whether to punch in the face, or shake my hand THEN punch me in the face. Lol.....totally rediculous, bravo.
