Maybe it's just me, but I do not like the direction of bike styling for 09 and beyond at the moment. Literally if someone offered one to me for my 05 ninja I'd say no. If they offered me an 07 or 08 gsxr 1000 tho I'd take it. I think the last good looking bike from japan is the 08 gsxr 1000 in that white paint job with the small bit of bright blue in the middle of the body fairing. These new bikes coming look too....small and skinny? They just don't look right to me, dunno what it is.

Nice STi by the way. At first I HATED wingless w/roof vane, now 2 years later, I just dislike it. It seems that in maybe one or two of those pictures, from some angles it looks palpable, but in other angles I still get that 'nails on chalkboard' feeling. I wouldn't mind going wingless on my sti, but I can't justify the $800 or so it would cost to remove the roof vane and properly deal with the holes and blend the paint work. I'm actually just jealous I guess, that it doesn't bother you guys who go wingless with the roof vane, as much as it bothers me.

 

It bothered me a little at first, but it's not as bad as it seems. Have you seen one in person with just the vane? It's like the 08's before they came out. I saw pictures and thought they were really ugly when I saw it in person I liked it!

And i dont know what it is, but something about the picture of your sti's rear (all tinted and carbonfibered out), at least would make me want a bigger exhaust tip. That might be a bordering "rice" statement but something about it makes it look too small for the car. maybe its better in person, i dont know

And ive heard you can remove the orange pieces in the headlights. i dont know if theres a law about that, but to some it looks pretty cool

Actually my exhaust has changed, that is another thing that I have not got an updated picture for. That was my stock turbo back with OBX axle back. Now I have the K'sai tbe.

So last night at Irish's house "Ryan" we worked on painting my headlights.. And some other festive things! Anyways, the lights...



We put the headlights in the fire to melt open before we were able to paint the insides..

Soon i'll have a little more updates on my car as to what I have been doing to it lately. I should also have some new pictures later this week.

Till then, i'll kind of sum it up. I went back to my stock: hood, trunk(painted the emblem to match the front one), and intake. Just purchased some new wheels, hella horns, brighter head and fog lights.

Other items im still thinking about gettin soon as well are headers, up pipe and a new tune.


I'm also debating on selling my subs and going OEM subs under the seats to get some of the weight out of my car.
