Dam, I REALLY like those wheels.... wanna trade?? As far as the problem you described, get the car on jackstands and examine the whole length of the exhaust for it touching anything like the driveshaft, heat shields or tranny. It could be the fitment of the JDM Helix dp? You mentioned a loud pop when lowering off the jackstands, sometimes its just the jack shifting around on the plate underneath... happened on my car before but didn't do anything. Lastly I rember on my last car I had a Cobb exhaust and part of it rubbed on the heat shield so I had to cut a corner piece of the heat shield off.

i'll have to think about trading

which heatshield was it rubbing. Did it make a lot of noise when it was rubbing? And i mean a lot of noise with vibrations and everything.

the 57s are hot. strange. i've seen these in person and they look relatively bigger than they do in your pics. maybe it;s the angle. 17s right? how much did you pay?

It didn't really make much noise, just enough to bother me. From what I remember it touched near the bend where the axle back and mid pipe connected, but this was not on a WRX so may be something different in your case.

Your setup looks nice. Did you trade with someone to get that
trunk? I've been wanting to go wingless myself.
