I have a few questions for you, as I am on the fence with respect to the (as yet unseen) 2006-7 Impreza redesign. If I hate the new Zapatinas styling (a la Tribeca), I will keep the trusty GC8 and go bonkers with mod money.

IF I keep the GC8, do you think I'd be able to get the GDM Type RA wide body quarter panels, rear doors, and front/rear bumpers through Japan Auto Parts? (yes my GC is a sedan)

My dream includes doing a USDM STi motor/driveline/suspension swap into the GC8 chassis. I know this has been done to at least one car in the Salt Lake City area. They even swapped the dash and interior as well! The only problem I heard they were still working on was fender rubbing on the wider track and wider tires. Those blistered fenders on your ride seem just the ticket to solve that.

If you have any tips on how the rest of us can build a LHD version of your ride, please do tell!
