Ok, So i've finally started to mod my 04 WRX and it's only going to get better from here...As for the list, it is always subject to change and I am always open to sugeestions, so let em fly...
Already installed:
Eibach Pro Kit - Dropped it about an inch all the way around, much better handling and cornering, swapped right out with the factory set with no issues at all
Cobb Short Throw Shifter - Also swapped right out with the factory shifter and saved me an *** load of time...love those Cobb guys...much crisper and more responsive shifting
AEM Short Ram - I know I know...it's only going to add 3hp now if that, but it's going to serve it's purpose in the long run because I plan on being up at 300hp before you know it...not to mention it just sounds "cool"...There was a K&N replacement lifetime high flow air filter....gone now...I think i'll ebay that unless anyone wants it cheap!!
To be installed Hopefully Sooner than later:
Upgraded ECU from Cobb or Vishnu - As far as I can tell they've done the most homework and are some of the tops in the industry...Please correct me if i'm wrong or if there's something better out there...
Turbo Back Exhaust - This is where I could use some suggestions. Anything that has sucked and you would never recommend, what sounds good and doesn't give that annoying whine but that deep smooth rumble and overall most important, what gives the most additional HP!!!!
Blow Off Valve - Probably a GReddy - but haven't researched enough yet, so call that TBD
Rims - I like the Enkei RS7's but they are being discontinued, so it's back to the mags and catalogs to see what else comes out that I like...And since this is a performance first project, that's why i'm not just going to buy the rims right now...
Tires - Yoko AVS ES 100s - Just for Spring Summer and Fall, no Winter...plan on keeping my bridgestones for that and as for now, when Spring rolls around those will be on my stock 16's...
And with the bigger rims and tires will come bigger breaks along with a dffernet clutch, but that's so far down the road I haven't even started looking yet.
Again, always open to suggestions and criticism so let me have it!!
