everyone in my family wanted me to get a used lexus. my uncle wanted me to get a used bimmer... i decided i wanted to drive stick.... and i don't see the point in buying a luxury car that's stick.
1st. 2000 BMW 540/ 99 lexus SC400
2nd. Subaru WRX (wagon... then seden.)-wagon is actually more useful
3rd. 3-series
4th Acura RSX type-S
5th Honda Prelude.

I had an RSX-S last year. Nice car, but you made the right choice with the WRX. As far as the Bimmer, a 540 would be nice and not too luxury for a stick, but your car is faster.

1) AccessECU (did you sen it away or buy a 2nd ECU?)
2) Turboxs Stealth-Back

These are the two mods I am looking at. Also, did you dyno the car for tuning or did the AcessECU go in unchanged?

I meant to put AccessEcu under waiting to be installed! I can't wait to put it on there. I sent it away and I'm waiting to get it back. I asked them about purchasing a second ECU but Cobb said it would be a few month wait to get one in being that the '04 is so new. Ontop of that, I called 3 dealers near me and non of them could even quote me a price let alone guarantee they could get an extra ECU. As for the stealth-back...I attached it to the Prodrive Axel Back and I love it. I use to have custom catback on my legacy prior to this and it was SO LOUD and Drowned on the highway. But after studying the forums for awhile before making my decision, I found that the Prodrive connected to the Stealthback was the way to go. When driving with the windows up, the car sounds 100% stock, even if you floor it, you can not hear the exhaust. With the windows down, the boxer rumble is deifniltey there but pretty quiet at that. It seems you are looking for a very quiet system, if so, this is the way to go. A bit pricey but worth it.

Looks like the AccessPort will be quite a seller. No way can I send my chip out and see a dead WRX in the driveway for even a day!
