Ouch!!!
well, im still dealing with the whole state ref ordeal. apparently, they didnt like the fact that i still had my gauges, and that i had my wires hanging out in my engine bay. i told them that they werent connected and that they had nothing to do with emissions, but they still insisted to have me remove em, so i passed the exhaust portion of the test, and i removed my gauges and im scheduled to have another appointment next monday, BUT just this past weekend, this happened:
someone cut me off in downtown SJ as i was going home and i avoided the accident by turning my wheel and as i turned it, the car was skidding across the lanes and i slammed right into the curb. that biatch didnt even bother to get out of his car to look at the car, saying your car is fine, dont trip. then he fled the scene. i did get this license plate as he left and i had it towed to my house.
all i can say is, im thankful im ok and nothing else and no one else was hurt during the ordeal.

update:
i got my car back FINALLY on tuesday afer waiting at least a month. at first they mentioned she would be out and about after 10 days, then 10 days became a month. i was furious on why it took so long, but im just very happy to have my suby back. they did a pretty good
job, seems like there was no damage to begin with.
i did reschedule my appt for the state ref, so that will occur at the end of the month. i pary and hope that i pass, so i can put all my parts back on.
heres some pics taken just a few minutes ago.

which ref station did you goto again? that is some major bs to make you come back and do it over because of gauges. they in no way effect the cars emissions equipment. guess it depends on the station, i had my gauges hooked up and AVCR boost controller hooked up and they didnt even ask about them.

its complete BS that they were questioning me with my gauges. ive asked around and they too have mentioned they went to ref with gauges and they passed. i went to the one at wyotech in fremont since i live in fremont. i will never go there again nor refer ppl to to there unless your back to bone stock.
i still have my uppipe, inlet hose, 34/ inj/ pump on the car, so hopefully ill pass this time around. i made my appt. at evergreen college in SJ, its a little further but im willing to take my chances there.

Even now I would still suggest you cancel your appt at Evergreen College and take your car to Alameda just to be safe, yes it is further but a much better chance of passing. I just don't want to see you have to show up at the ref a 3rd time cause that would suck.
Well, whatever you end up doing good luck and I hope you get this resolved soon

they didnt give me the option of going to the alameda ref for some reason, they only gave me fremont, livermore, and SJ.

You have a lot of parts I am interested in. How are the Helix sways and end links? Do they squeek? Also the 4 pot brakes, Are they worth it? anyway your ride looks awesome.

update:
well everything with the state ref is all done. i got my car back up and running. had some issues with my FMIC piping and coming loose but thats all taken care of.
I recently bought some rally armor mudflaps:

and some of you have already seen, but i also got some new wheels. i needed a change. no more blue and gold- altho i miss the color scheme.

heres a better pic of the new wheels and mudflaps:
