that looks clean....how much horsepower is it producing? what type of turbo did you get and where did you get it from?

Question
I've heard that putting a turbo on the 2.5 RS is not a good idea? Have you had any troubles with it? I'd like to put a turbo on mine but I'm fearfull of the problems this may cause. Did you have to switch a lot of wiring?

straight foward
the turbo kit was pretty striaght foward on installation, and I have never had any problem with it and its been on over a year now.It is a forced air technologies stage 1 turbo kit with a wrx intercooler and on the dyno I pulled a 212whp and 233tq. also the turbo is a T04E turbo WHICH IS HUGE!!!! great for boost.I am in the middle of buying a sti short block to get the full turbos potential soon.

usually between 2600 and 2800, there is no turbo lag do to the torque from the rs being a 2.5

while I was having some work done on my 98 RS (oil pump re-seal & srtuts), the tech said they just had another 98 RS with an sti short block in it....tests came out 500 horses TO THE WHEELS!!!

NO way it's putting 500 to the wheels. I want to see a dyno sheet...

WOW i have an 03' rs with the same lights i had the same decals and the same window banner with the same turbo kit! im not at home now but ill post some pics. i took the decals off though cause they were getting unwanted attention. i have a pwr air/water i/c
