I made this in truespace 4 or 5 I think and Yeah I know, I didnt put as much detail into it as I should but too late now, its been too long and I dont even remember where the original file is heh.
What 3D app are you using? I'm a Lightwave person my self.

That was about five years ago, made in Inspire, which is Lightwave Lite! Crappy texturing, ok lighting, bleh.
I haven't touched lightwave in ages, should get back into that.

Well, I took a 3D class in high school that had both Inspire and Lightwave. Eventually my teacher was impressed and told me "I can help you get a student discount on LW." So, I just searched the net w/ him until I found an awesome deal: over 50% off, original price being over $1000.
Lightwave wasn't too hard for me, it's just Inspire with a hell of a lot more. So, since I had the Inspire background, it was just like working with extra plugins. I'd suggest taking a class though
One thing too, LW is what most are using for car commercials, not 3D Studio Max.
