The Mach5v2.0

Here's it is the Mach5v2.0 a Cobb Stage 2 04 STi

Well I sold my WRX when I found out the STi's where coming to the USDM. I think the STi is a better platform to "start" with....for making a daily driver/fun track car

This car doesn't get babied! It's my daily driver and sees as much Auto-x's, track days as I can get to.

My Mods so far have tried to take care of some weak spots that I found......

1) Power
Cobb AccessPort
Cobb down-pipe
Blitz Nur Spec Touring cat-back exhaust
Hyperground kit
Samco intake hose

2) Suspension
STi pink springs
STi Ti Front Strut bar
Cusco Rear Strut bar
Cusco Rear V-brace
Cusco Rear Sway bar

3) Interior
OEM Auto-dimming Mirror/Compass
OEM Armrest Extension
OEM 6 Disc in-dash CD Changer
OEM Upgraded Speaker
OEM Tweeter Kit
OEM Subwoofer/Amplifier
Defi/STi Genome 52mm Boost Gauge
Cusco Intercooler Sprayer Controler
Autospeed OEM Style Dead Pedal

4) Exterior
Lot's of small scratches, rock chips and dents

5) Misc....
Noltch Steering rack bushings
Kartboy Shifter bushings
Goodridge SS brake lines
FERODO 2500 brake pads

6) Wheels & Tires
17" Weds Sport SA 90's
SO-3's

I really like my car the way it's set up right now.....but a little part of me is dying for Stage 3

Nice! The perfect daily driver STi. The only things I would do different if I had one is use a single complete turboback, and different wheels. Different strokes...

Yep for some reason Subaru gave us STi Struts and some crap springs. The pink STi springs are the ones that are matched for the struts.

The reason is the "Americans are fat lazy stupid slobs who like soft rides" attitude in Japan. It's the same reason they get real sport seats and we get small benches.
