So I use to have a 2007 wrx in obp. Sold it and bought a fixxer upper hot rod to use as my DD.
1967 chevelle as built in Fremont.
So a year into my home build I decided I have the Suby itch so I found Justin (Bkblitzed's car on I-club for sale)
Went down there with some money and picked it up.
Her it is the day after I picked it up.
Didn't do to much to it and drove it for the next year (only living 1 mile away from work I didn't drive it much) so it was my weekend warrior and man did I have some fun with it. At 185k miles the car was smoking a lot after a hard run. Found the leak was on the head gaskets and a an old leak on the turbo feed line.
and while i was in the i stated to clean things up in the engine bay (litteraly clean) everything was coated in dirt and grime.
So I tore it apart. Found the turbo has a bunch of shaft play (being the stock turbo it was expected) the valve cover bolts snapped off when trying to replace the valve cover gaskets( yes I used pb blaster that sat all night) and having enough antifreeze in the head to worry me I decided to get it towed to EQ Tuning for a motor build.

Ended up with the stage 2 block.
Also my goal was to run a conservative tune with e85 and a Atpgt3071r turbo (stock location) and a top mount for quick spool for the occasional autox/ track day
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Q...p=docslist_api
Ended with a Spearco tmic.
Found a great deal on an 07 Sti drive line with 40k miles so I purchased that and put that in at the same time as the block
Got the car back from Eq with a break in tune and it sucked for the next 6months I broke it in... Lol I know 6 months+/-
In that time I found some forcewerkz fender flares and some 18x11 cosmos rims and barely got them to fit.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Q...p=docslist_api
Mock up of fender flares... They fit but don't get me wrong not even close to karlton fender flares fit...
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Q...p=docslist_api
Couldn't fit the front of the flares on due to the width of the tires with the spacers
Here is my attempt at painting lol rattle can flares
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Q...p=docslist_api
Finally I hit the 1k miles mark so I changed the oils and header over to Eq for the final tune with ethanol!

Man what a difference power whenever you want it and boy did it feel fast wanted to be somewhere around 350awhp on the dyno I can find the chart right now but I'll get that for you
Hit the mark as far as how much lower I wanted at the time.
So I decided to finish hooking up my gauges and start enjoying the car.
this guy really enjoys it "Vroom DADA"
sorry some of the pictures are links to my google drive.
