The hood is CF too, no black roof though. The wheels are currently on ebay, getting black 17" to clear my 6pots, a turbo kit is also awaiting installation.

nice!
i know thats only one pic, and probly not even the most flattering one at that, but that thing looks clean! very nice car fella. what year is that little 2door? almost makes me want to get rid of my bugeye... nah, i gotta have four doors.
hey, i love the mudflaps, what kinda plastic is that, where'd you find it? i was gonna get the stock impreza flaps, but they're like 100 bucks and they only go down like 1-1/2 inches, so they barely do anything to protect the side of the car!
post s'more pics man, that ride deserves it. by the time you're done with the turbo and whatnot, you'll be hangin with the sti's and they will be wondering if its Ramana on their tail or something. haha, later dude
RIP Roger and Mark.

Mudflaps: Sparco, only $35 from Primm Motorsports. I actually cut them in half down the vertical, the width of them is far too wide for just one wheelwell, so a pair will do you just fine. I then used Aluminum self-tapping screws with an electric screwdriver. Very simple, and keeps all the chips and stones away for years to come.
Decided to sell my 6-pots and just upgrade the stock system, that way I can get the Rota Slipstreams(only make them in 16" and weigh in at 13lbs)
I should be pushing a reliable 275hp, and my car weighs in at 2600, so you do the math on the weight to hp ratio to see if it can beat a stock STi.

awesome, is that the stock paint, it looks mysteriously close to the current WRB, i thought the previous models came in a little different shade. did you already sell your brakes? will they fit on my 03? haha, probly not... i love how the black trunk looks on the blue car, i can't justify the cost of CF pieces, maybe someone with a nice black hood and trunk want to trade me and put my blue ones on their black car??? you got a nice one there dude, keep up the good work.
from that angle, i'd stretch and say its the nicest (cleanest) GC8 (is that the right model???) i've seen to date, though you need to finish the "Turbo Inside" stuff...
later dude, Bennie

no way dude!
considering the rallye heritage of Subaru, mudflaps are definetely acceptable (even if your baby never sees the dirt, you're still protecting her, right...)
your flaps are unique and very cool (unique until i get mine haha)
edit: dude, c'mon lets see more pics please
and i gotta respect you for drivin the '98; you were in the game before most americans knew what a rex was... now they almost seem to be a dime a dozen, and even people that haven't been rallye fans or sube fans are into them, obviously the mighty rex's have something that draws all types of people. i have had three cars since i found out the wrx was coming to america, and knew that i'd get one eventually; i just had to get a new job first to afford one... you and your sleeper RS have my respect, mudflaps and all
