ok, thats all folks, sorry again for the low quality but hopefully they were worth checking out. If you attended H.I.N. please post some of your pics too
Sorry, didn't mean to be a jerk about it -- my wife is a professional photographer, I'm used to seeing sharp and clear photos
but she also uses a pro lighting kit.
In any case, there are some awesome shots in there -- and quite a few that are pretty "psychedelic" (like a car show at a rave!)...
Dammit, why can't Phoenix ever score a hot import show. All we have is the Barret-Jackson auction, and that's just ancient cars being drooled over by equally ancient duffers eager to spend their children's inheritence on a useless purchase.

photography advice
damn, some of them cars are sweet!!! too bad some of the pics weren't that great. i understand that lighting conditions aren't always great, but there are ways to get around it. in that situation, a monopod would have come in very handy! considering it was crouded as you said, a monopod would require very little space, unlike a tripod. course a monopod wouldn't keep the camera from staying perfectly still, but it'll dramatically improve your pics...

I was going to add some pics to this thread, however, the gallery is gone. So now i can't up load my pics to i-club for them to host them. Oh well. When this upgrade is all sorted out, then maybe i can post the pics.

my eyes hurt now.
tips: use a flash so the shutter speed is faster and then it stays in focus. if no flash, then use a tripod so it catches the existing light but doesn't get blurred by your movements.
i couldn't even look at all the pictures because it seriously made my eyes hurt
