Her name is .....

The 'Grey Ghost' , and she's the replacement for my 04 Ford Focus SVT (The 'Black Pearl'.

I've begun whaat I like to call "'Stage1" of modding my 07 WRX Limited. Here's the progress after just over two weeks of pwnership :

S204 style front lip:

Borla Hush cat back

Valentine1 Radar Detector, Pioneer DEHP7900 Head Unit

Installed but not pictured : Cobb AP w/Stage 1 ACN91 ecu map (California 91 octane AKA urine)

Awaiting Installation : 06/07 STi HID headlamp assemblies (if I can figure out the wiring without hacking anything up)

Still trying to find the time to get done : Window tinting (70% front windows, 50% or darker on back windows & rear glass)

Good thing I do all my own scheduled maintenance. They sent me a coupon for my "free first oil/filter change" but that'd cost me like $40 in gas to go and comeback, haha.

hehe, usually if you sweet talk one of the service reps, you can build up enough report to have them comp them completely or at least give you a discount with a new subaru...

very nice.

never had good experiences with Cypress Coast Subaru's service department either. They really have no clue what they are working on...

cypress coast is a bunch of retarded ******! And don't even think about stepping into the service department unless you want to get treated like you're as dumb as the salesmen.

I pulled up in my bugeye with an sti wing to get parts. Salesguy watched me pull through, saw the front of my car. I got out and he said I had a nice sti

From the time my car was stock until when I got tuned, if I went anything more than 2/3rds throttle the car would usually have pulsing rpm's (go up 500, hesitate, continue from 3,000 to 6,000ish) I brought it in

Ken "its fine, that's just the tcm (tranny control module) protecting the transmission"
me "protecting it from what? Are saying subaru put in a tranny that can't handle stock power?"
Ken "are you questioning my master tech mechanic?"
me "no, I'm questioning the design of the car"

After I got tuned the problem went away. I then got a manual tranny swapped in with a new ecu, when untune it does the same thing

Cypress Coast is a horrid place. One of their parts guys doesn't kwow the difference between a turbo to downpipe gasket and an intake manifold gasket.

That being said, nice car, can't wait to see how it progresses

Duly noted. I wouldnt even let them change my oil...even though they sent me a coupon for my first one to be a freebie. Car only came with one key/remote, made the salesman (Rob B.) overnight me 2 more of each at no cost to me.

That being said, tint b done....50% back windows & rear glass, 64% on front door windows.

oh very nice, I'm thinking about going alittle darker on my tint, I've got the same color as you.

haha, I was once doing some fixing up of a friends car, needed to go buy some clips for some random piece, and the guy wouldn't sell them to me until he got my VIn number...I was like...for a clip? he just gave me a real blank look, then turned around and got his notepad...****en guy.
