The great majestic NW [and my OBS]

Here's a couple shots I took recently. We haven't had any snow for over a week, and it was like 50 degrees when I took these. Damn El Nino.

Nice sunny day, though- can't complain there.

Is that Oregon going towards the cascades?

I miss the NW! It was so beautiful!

The last pic is of I-5, looking across the border from OR to CA.
The mountain in a few of the pics is Mt. Ashland. The range would be the Siskiyous.

I used to live on the coast and I thought that was nice, all except for the constant rain and overcast. The valley has been even more pleasant- where I live now (the rogue valley), we get as many sunny days per year as you folks in Hawaii! I'm definitely diggin' it.

Oh awesome...I never did get a chance to go to Southern OR! I hear it's freakin' nice! Someday when I move back up there I'm gonna take a drive up and down the coast.

I loved Lincoln City. Lived in McMinnville went to Linfield. Furthest south I ever went was Eugene. I really wished I had gone down to Klamath Falls!

I lived in Lincoln City for over 15 years...and my parents still do. So as you may expect, I can't stand that place.

But next time I visit there, maybe I'll take a few shots of some memorable locations and post them up here.

^^^Yes please do. That rock out of the water was my favorite place to attempt to scam some booty.

Rock out of the water? Are you talking about Pacific City and Haystack rock (with the giant sand dune)? Or Roads End (where the beach ends)?

I'd be happy to bring back some memories.
