A friend leaving Okinawa

I have a friend that moved away from Okinawa to Virgina last Sunday..... He owns a white 94 STI RA with the Prova parts installed. A T3/T4 turbo, a 6spd tranny with diff and a ORC twin plate was recently installed a few days earlier. We took the car out to have a little fun before he shipped it off to Virgina. here are some photos:

well he will be taking the car to Autocross events, Drag racing events, or circuit racing if there is any near where he lives...

How is he going about the "importation"?

Or is he not going to register it / off road use only? I only ask because I am in the Marines stationed in Hawaii and will frequent Japan during my career.

i can't really say cause if many people do this from the states,,,,, it may become illegal. if you do make it over here, i could tell you in-person on how to do this.... it's not illegal... but i could see it become illegal if it is abused.

Nice

Will definately have to hit you up if I return to Japan.

Hated leaving my 180SX behind. But then I wouldn't have the WRX now.
