Final version of the 06 STI
I think according to the Japanese magzine this car will be the 2006 WRX STI. Which will come out in May of 2005. "In my opinion" they tried to combine the 2004 legacy and 2004 STI into one car.

the front end is consistent with the drawings/pictures that have been circulating, but the back end....? 
they just left it the same! it doesn't look right with the NEW front and the OLD back end!

The picture looks photochopped to me. Maybe Subaru photochopped it, I don't know. I don't think this is any more official then the concept sketches we've already seen.
I was kind of hoping for more radical change then these pictures show, honestly. I really hope they update the back end a little too (and not just the taillights).

that's terrible.
It reminds me of old peugot or something... I can't remember but back in the day there was a car with the same terrible design for the grill. It's just gross. If that comes out, there is no way in hell I'm trading my wagon in on anything.
the bumper and the headlights are ok. but the middle needs work. and it looks like the rest of the car is EXACTLY the same. Including the seats and wheels.
To me it seems like subaru is having a ton of the GM and saab stuff run off on them. Like more luxury looking than mean or what not. Some of that stuff is cool but I wish they were stick to making cars that look tough..or have the ability to look tough....

thats terrible. I pray to god thats a photoshop. I've been holding out for the new body style for a while, and if thats it im just gonna buy an el camino and go live in the desert.
I just noticed this, but if you look at the angle on the top of the center grill versus the hood, it doesnt match up quite right. I yell photoshop!
