I know everyone is doing the EJ20 swap but i dont wanna be like everyone else, i wanna build a EJ22, i havnt seen neone yet with a fully built EJ22, and i wanna do it

Since you already ahve exhaust, search around for a header. If you wanna keep the stock motor only way your gonna get some power out of it and stay NA is to have some serious head work done and cams those two will make a noticable difference. I'd say a thre angle grind on the valves, port and polish the intake and exhaust runners on the head and might as well have the intake manifold PnP also and a set of cams not sure what a good lift and duration for Subies would be. And while your haveing that work done re-ring the pistons, hone out the cylinders, put new rod and main bearings in and when that is done you'll have a rebuilt motor also. Any good machine shop can do the PnP work and if your lucky like I was when I built a VW the machine shop rebuilt the head also (hot tanked, new valve seals, new valve guides and installed my cam, lifters, 8k springs)

im still new to the subbie world, is there a cam gear on these things, i still have the white rims, they are konig toxxins, will trade for some factory subaru wheels
EJ22 is gonna run you some dough. The right ones are pretty tough to find. Please lose the tail lights. It's a Subaru. jeesh
