Very nice man...very very nice...hehehe I say this not only cause it really is nice but our cars look very identical, and both have the same swap. (I have stock black wheels though)..
To comment on why is a FMIC better, or Top mount better heres what I think (and kinda know for a fact)
FMIC cools much much better, and of course looks hot!! Its thought that "well man I dont want lag" well the air is traveling so fast you really arnt going to notice anything TO MUCH different from your top mount. I use a FMIC on my swap also and have full boost at ruffly 3200rpm.
Top mount flows faster but like i said the air is traveling so fast your not gaining a crazy amount. bad thing is they do however soak in alot of heat (if you have top mount take a drive, park, get out and feel the intercooler...its VERY hot) Of course while driving it cools a bit more but the top mount is ON TOP of the engine, next to the turbo.
Some may say "well Subaru engineers would of changed it by now if something else was better"
Not at all. if they changed it they would be loosing money with the time spent changing it, and parts cost. Even it if cost $1 to make it cool better when really not needed to sell cars, and they make 20k cars a year then thats $20,000 they would have to spend to change something thats not broke.
FMIC !!!
