Dream car realised
OK, so I went whole hog on my WRX. After having it now for less than two months I've invested a pretty penny; time and skin a plenty getting it where it is now. Long waits for parts and who knows how many curse words have put me close to 300 hp (I hope). The stereo's all right as well.
Here's the list on my blue '02 wagon:
Factory installed Omori psi boost gauge and short shifter.
Stromung divorced wastegate 3" dp, 3" 3rd cat eliminator and dual tip cat-back.
ERZ (less than $100 new w/ shipping off ebay) catless uppipe w/ flex section.
Used Xede and harness w/ stage 1 93 oct map.
BOMZ (less than $50 shipped off ebay) lightened ud crank pulley.
Samco blue silicone ic hoses.
Stereo:
Alpine v-power headunit.
Kicker resolution 6 1/2 components in front doors (need to move tweeters to the dash, low sound stage right now.
Memphis 5 1/4 coaxials in the rear doors (run off headunit @ 60w max, 27 RMS).
Pioneer 720 max (125x2 RMS @ 4 ohms) amp for kickers; mounted under pass. seat.
Infinity Basslink in hatch area.
Old reused (like the headunit) 1 farad capacitor for both amps.
This is my dream car come true. I only wish I had a little more above 5000 rpm. The low end is so good that I can't see changing anything major though.
