The lip is a replica, but it's not held on by 3M tape. It's just bolted on the bottom like the splash guard.

As for whats next? Probably getting the front passenger side fender repainted and fixed since some stupid dishrag ***** decided to side swipe my car last week.

I took my car to the track and got some times for it Friday. I ran consistant 8.1's @ 85 mph with low 1.81 60ft.s I still had my 18's on so I'm sure I'd been putting down some 1.7's and possibly getting a 7.99.

My wife is pregnant so the car will be this fast or slow (however you look at it) for a while. Once the baby comes and get our moeny situation worked out I'll be buying some more things for it. Not sure what yet, but I'm sure I'll find something. LOL

Back from the deadly....

Did a few updates to the car and then sold it and bought another EVO....

Here is what it looked like before I sold it. After my son was born, I ended up buying some 18X9 Advan RG2's for it, put bigger cams in it, and put a bigger hotside and 02 housing on it. I also put a set of HKS Hiper Max2 coilovers on it and some (4) Defi gauges in it as well. Best time for my red EVO was a 7.87 @87mph on pump gas with a 1.72 60ft. It needed to be retuned after the bigger cams, hotside, and 02 was installed, but never had it done.

I'll throw in a pic of the new EVO thats totally stock with 6,000 miles on it. Funny thing is, as I'm posting these pics, my wife is yet pregnant again and I won't be doing anything to this car til after the baby is born in Jan. I do have a Apex GT Spec catback ordered though.

Never dynoed the red car with the setup it had, but if I had to guess, I'd say 320 or so, but with a retune it would probably be 335 or a little more. Not really sure to be honest.

I never ran race gas in the car, but a buddy had the same setup as I did and he was trapping 93mph in the 1/8 at our local track. On pump gas, it had a 7.7 in it for sure with a better 60ft. and on race gas it should've gone 7.5's.

The gray car is stock, but I've read that the 9's make about 250-260 on a DynoJet stock. I took it to the track a few weeks back and ran a 8.4 @ 81mph. The 05 and 06's have a limiter on them so I couldn't launch it any higher than 5000 rpm and it was killing my launching. My best 60ft. for the night was a 1.9. If I can get the limiter removed my 60ft. should drop to at least a 1.7. A better 60ft. with this car should get a very low 8 sec pass with it stock. Maybe even a 8 flat. Who knows? I don't think it'll be stock come next year when the track opens up......lol
