Alrighty. Here we are Tuesday morning, very early. I just wanted to do a little write-up about the weekend. Auto-X on Sunday was awesome. It was an interesting course. I am definitely getting faster. Got to give props to everyone that has helped me get me to where I am. I'll do that later in the post. Anyways, course was really interesting. It was a fast course, but there were a few parts that you had to pay attention. Anyways, I ran a 40.088 +2, 38.360 (my fastest time), and a 38.469 +2. I was actually doing really well on my last run until I messed up one of the sweepers. Went into it way too aggressively and then it understeered, and that was that really. I think I could of gotten a faster time than my 38.360 if I didn't screw that up.
My times are starting to get really close to the rest of the field. Glenspen put down his best of 37.081. Chakming888 edged me out with a 38.286. The Honda's and Acura's had their way with us Subaru peeps. No big deal. We'lll get them next week.
Note: Amos, if you read this, I have your little spray bottle.
As I was saying, it is starting to get really close. When you take into account the power that the L has and that it is an automatic, 1.5 seconds isn't a lot. I am really excited to be reclassifying to regular STX next year. I hope to be causing some trouble for you STX peeps.
Thanks to Glen for letting me borrow the air compressor, and thanks Mark for you know what.
Also want to thank everyone who has helped me get to where I am. Karlton, Don, Glen, Gagan, Mark Mervich, Edison, Gil, Noel, and yeah... I am sure I am missing a bunch of peeps. But yeah... Looking forward to improving!!
Oh... no pictures this time. I hope there are some, but haven't seen any yet.
