Do you also drive with a helmet? God forbid you get T-boned and you head slams into the steel cage.

that would kinda hurt, I think a 4point racing harness would do the trick though.

But if you want my 7 point i will trade you for your six point. My cage is also fully wrapped in the black padding that is really thin and dense, wrapped by bozz performance. its really nice. I just want a six now cause i have lots of people riding in my back seat all the time, if your interested i wil get you some pics.
Three things to say.
1) You are wrong.
2) Not only did the package say 7 point; but the instructions do as well, they even label each point.
3) I don't want to trade for their older model...

It was late and I was grumpy. Sorry, wasn't supposed to sound how it did.
Cusco did change their cage, now the 7 point is - well the one I have, and their 8 point has the bar that comes diagonally from the center section to one of the reear strut mounts.

6 point

OLD 7 point

NEW 7 point(mine!)

8 point

I found those pics on the web. I photoshopped the 7pt(NEW) above just to clarify its structure. Notice how the only difference between the 8 point and my 7 point is that one diagonal bar from the mid section to the rear(as I mentioned in a post above)...
And also how on their 6 point; it's just like mine, only it doesn't have the extra rear top bar like mine does. Unfortunately I threw away the instruction as soon as I finished along w/ the scaps of my panels I had to cut for rear fitment - otherwise I'd just scan it for you..
I would have loved getting the 8 point, but was told Cusco only makes the 8 point out of steel, and it goes through the dash, not around it like the chromoly cages they make. I have an Option bar on order still though that goes diagonally behind the front seats, I'll post a pic of it installed once it arrives.

now i see...... i was never clear on that.

take pics when you put that bar along the mid section....
you going to use it for belt harness??

also, i was thinking of MAYBE in the future of doing that, but i was kinda scared for my passengers in the rear if (for Gods bid) if I get into a fender bender, i dont want my passengers to smash their face into that bar.....

i have family and friends one of the little reasons why I like the WRX...
