that's probably the coolest custom engine i've ever seen. Other things might be more powerfull but that just looks nasty.

Yea that is bada**, but the closed hood does indeed look disturbed, at least from that tiny little shot of it on one of the boards next to it. Would love to see it closed in a closer shot.

and about the engine...i think it may be a bored out EZ30 that they use in austrailian H6 cars, which would be 110% badass with twin turbochargers....this car makes me wanna fap...
