You would have had to have gotten a very good deal on an 02-03 WRX.
Everyone seems to forget about the rest of what's in the STI, there's more than just the motor... And I got the STI used for a really good price. And it was a lot easier to sell off all of the stock STI parts than it would have been to sell of WRX stock parts that less people want. And converting to the bugeye didn't cost me as much as everyone is assuming.

It performs as an STI, but looks like the better(IMHO) bugeye model.

Exactly, that's why I like the way you did it. It may be more expensive (but I don't think it would be) but it has to be the less of a pain in the *** to do it your way.
