The dual tank ones are baller and I think you can run air tools off of them. But its more than I want to spend, and space might be too tight for it.
lots of 4x4 guys convert the a/c system to pump into air tank, I looked into it. requires a bit of work, Still on the fence about getting one. your idea is also tempting.

Been working on the switch panel for an hour here and there after work. Made a template out of cardboard and then cut it out of some 23 gauge plate steel. Slowly filed it down till it was a nice tight fit that Im happy with. Yesterday I stenciled the individual switches onto the panel.

Might be able to do a little more tonight, but after that, I probably wont get to mess with it till Sunday. Also working on a template for a under-hood bracket to hold the power distribution box.

Here's where Im at currently.

The interior trim comes standard with "carbon fiber" design.

A few years ago I picked up an old office desk for like $20 on Craigslist. Painted the back and drawer faces black, and ordered a huge sheet of CF wrap. I wrapped the tops and side trims.

Ive got a decent amount of leftover wrap that ive been picking at over the years for small things. Ill prolly just wrap the panel with that

That'll look good. I plan on doing something similar in Chompy.

Got some updates coming from the weekend.

Dropped the car off Saturday morning to get the front windows and windshield tinted. Did 35% on the front two and 45% on the windshield. Was going to have a 5% sun strip across the top, but he wanted the windshield to completely dry first, so ill get that taken care of in the next week or so.

Spent some more time with the panel. I trimmed it down a bit more to fit nicely into the front of the cubby. Also trimmed out the holes for the rocker switches.

I had some left over "carbon fiber" vinyl laying around from an old project a few years ago. I decided to wrap the panel in that to match the rest of the interior trim. Came out pretty nice. After I put it on, I noticed there is a slight warp in the vinyl near the bottom. Kinda bugs me, but its good enough (at least for now lol).

Got the switches placed inside the panel.

Side shot to see it along with the other panels on top of the glove box and door handle.

Still have to make a bracket for the power distribution box in the engine bay. Then run the harness inside the cubby. Getting very close. But I probably wont really be able to work on this for another week or two

I hate to be that guy... But the "Rear Lights" switch is off center.
