It was at Lake Geneva Raceway in Wisconsin.. about an hour away from Madison (I'm still new to these parts).

Yeah that's Hali B, my pride and joy! I suck at photos, so I never take pictures of her. I took it real easy and real slow, for obvious reasons, but I had a blast!

Nice. Looks like you guys have some nice rallycross areas over there.
What does Hali B mean for your car ?

Hopefully they can find a new site. That place is getting turned into condos in a few months.

It's a long story as to why/how I started calling my car that, but it really just comes down to the fact that I am a chemistry nerd:

So, your car is a rally machine that also fights cancer? "It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru."

Why'd you leave the Bay?

LOLz that should be their new slogan.. I guess the link between the molecule and the car, in my head, was that they're both intimidating beasts to a certain extent.

I moved out to Madison for grad school (organic chemistry). I'll either be back in CA in 3, 5, or 7 years, depending on what happens career-wise! Although I can't wait to hit up gokart racer in Burlingame this December.. I miss the Bay so much sometimes it's not even funny.

Gotcha. That's pretty cool and original.
If you come back this way (NorCal), you should come by the local autocross events if you haven't already.

sucked ***, actually. everyone's got quite a bit of experience under their belt compared to me. it wasn't until a nice guy offered to sit in the passenger's seat and yell out with his thick polish accent, "GASGASGAS!" that i started to push a lil harder.

ah well, in due time.

there's another event coming up at the beginning of november, so i'm looking to learn some more at event #2!

Ahh, WI. I miss my home. Might have to move back there, too, due to crazy *** CA living expenses. Boo.

Someone give me a good idea to make lots of money

Car looks great!

flip-I'm still on those summer stock tires.. until early next week. Tire Rack called me bright and early today to let me know that my snow tires are being shipped.

aken-I know all about those bay area living expenses! I miss everyone back home in CA, but the cost of living out here is sooo nice.
