one question...How much lighter is the carbon hood compared to the oem one? the wrx hood is a very light weight hood compared to other cars with stock hoods imo.

Not that big of a difference in weight almost feels the same also depends who makes it, some use layers and layers to make it tougher, and adds a little more weight
i bought the Cf hood used it was a proto type hood from aero gear it use to have there logo on the hood and i had it removed and re-clear coated the cf hood but other than that cant really tell...

Im not planning on getting new shocks, im planning in the long run to gets some
coil overs.... i've had the springs on since october of 2004 shocks are still good ....
