Yeah the clear really does the trick. I ordered clear for everything else too but during shipping the truck got so hot it melted all the glue in the lights and everything was a nasty yellow mess. Imagine mustard-smoked clear lenses...
I did however smoke the fender lights after a frusterating attempt to find them online. Kind of ghetto but they look darn good and no one can really tell unless you look, REAL close (this is after all these pictures).
