I'm looking to buy an old body style impreza and want to see what people have done to them.

I had no idea what a gc8 was until now, scooby42... insted of being a dick you could have told me what masiolli said, obviously i'm new to the forum and very new to subarus.

Girls, Girls, let's chill out a little. GC8 is SLANG for all old body style imprezas. To be acurate, GC8 is a 2.0l turbo sedan, GC6 is a 2.5l sedan, GM6 2.5l coupe, GF4 a 2.2l wagon, GC4 2.2l sedan, etc...

You can find a pic of mine a few posts away.

I just bought a 2001 Impreza RS! I'm so excited. I had to learn how to drive stick for my car... What is one of the cheapest mods I can get for it? Are there any other girls out there with Imprezas? Oh yeah, I also have the 98' Impreza body for my HPI Pro 3 RC car. I'll take a picture of both together eventually.

you might get more of a response posting a new thread. that pic would be cool. there are plenty of cheap mods, the cheapest being the intake snorkel removal. you can check out www.ravensblade-impreza.com james(i think thats his name) has a lot of good info. also just search around the forums. welcome to the clubedit:for website linky thingy not working
