Pics of WRX on 18s...
YOu wont sit any higher than stock if you go with something tame like a 215/35ZR18 on 7 inch rims. Its actually a half inch SHORTER than stock...You will find that your actually going to reva bit quicker. I know that most of my quicker revs are attributed to the 14lb weight of the CenterLine RPM rims.
215/35 doesnt sound like alot of rubber- and its not. However for a sub 300hp car its PLENTY. Carefull where you point...
This pic is taken with an Eibach Pro-Kit installed lowering the front 1 inch and rear 1.3 inches- and is just a hair firmer than stock. Awsome control with those 35s.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??
hey Simply,
Nice *** rims but i cant belive those are 18's and ur car is lowered an inch. Does the car really sit that high? I was thinking on getting 17 when i get mine but damn. I thought that 18's on a lowered car would look as if the rubber would be closer to the fender (height wise).
Do you have any other pictures of the car?

WRX's do sit high...
The tire combo, like i said earlier is actually a HALF INCH SHORTER than the stock wheel/tire combo. If you went with 225's youd have nearly another inch of blackwall. But I am super happy with my combo- as it is not my daily driver. VERY FIRM RIDE, ULTIMATE CONTROL, but not forgiving on potholes.
With a pair of lightweight rims and the right tire height you can actually make your car accelerate faster like a subtle gearing change, along with the weight savings over the heavy stock tires/rims.
No better pics, weathers been nasty. I actually went out and took that pic inmy garage when I saw your post. I just had the tires/rims/drop installed Thursday.
