As for the paint job: The only two tone car that' I've seen that looked good was a Maybach 57 in San Francisco. (Forest green and Khaki tan)
totally agree with you on the brand name stickers. (i think its alright on show cars, just not on a daily driver whos not sponsered) whats really funny is the guys who run stickers of brands they dont even have.

although, i still dont feel that this wrx is rice....it looks really clean to me.
oh and the Maybach 57 looks gross imho.

anyways, not trying to PW this thread so....peace out man

Yeah, the Maybach 57's aren't the best looking cars, I prefer a Rolls or the 62 in that class of cars.

If I saw this car on the street, I would call it Rice for the MAIN reason of it's color. It resembles primer too much. There are so many ricers around me that are primered cuz they can't afford the paint job. That's why I said if it had a custom paint job it would look better (aka: less like rice)

I'm still trying to figure out how this isnt a custom paint job...must be just my taste that is out of whack then, but a complete color change done by a professional body shop isnt the same as buying some rattle cans from Home Depot and going to town on the car. I agree people who do that is half ***, but my friend this is nothing like that. The numerous people that have seen it can't believe how clean the car is and how great the finish is...

Oh well, i will just step back and keep doing my thing. Guess i can start driving my other car as well...rice to the extreme!!!

You're right, it is a custom paint job, sorry I never recognized that. I was just saying that the paint job looks like primer. Not that it wasn't custom, but don't let me bring you down. Look at all the other people that have given you props to the car. I even did, speed wise. The point I was trying to make is a different color would have looked better IMO.

Also, that pic didn't work. . .

Well the painting expierence was really nice actually. Took 4 weeks to the day for everything as they promised. That is with all the color change, interior, exterior, wheels and all...

One of the main reasons why i went to MOB works is for the reason of how they paint the engine bays. I have seen there work before on painted engine bays and they all look like the motor was pulled. Mine was not pulled from the car. They actually take the time to pull everything off the firewall, core support and fender wells...then they wrapped the entire motor and sprayed it. I have some shots of the engine bay prepped after it came out of the booth and it was pretty awesome. After that i came back 3 days later and the car was exactly the same way when i left it there, running order that is!

I am very satisfied with the quality, professional attitude and amount of time to get the job done...if you do decide to goto MOB works please talk to Miguel and tell him I sent you, he will take care of you. I actually got to go there tomorrow afternoon for a photoshoot they are doing in the shop with some models for new ads and for the website, should be cool...
