My 2003 MBP WRX - SRIC

I bought the car 9 months ago from a guy in the BAIC named dale. Its a 2003 black wrx. He had lots of stuff done to it but he parted it out basically back to stock. I got the car with HR springs on it, HKS TT Type 1 turbo timer, and Autometer Boost guage, Autometever fuel/air ratio guage.

I used to have pictures of the car when it was bone stock but my hard drive went down so i lost them, but hey, we all know what a stock wrx looks like anyways.

Here is a picture I found closest to stock:

In this shot it has the spec c badging, and the blitz nurspec catback, invidia downpipe and it was Cobb stage 2. Up front it has sti fog light covers and sti carbon fiber turn signal covers.

The above two shots are right after I got the Rota 17x7.5" Bronze Torques wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 235/45ZR17 Tires. I did a trunk swap with zoeb@subydude.

time passed and I got little stuff here and there.. I got the Helix flex uppipe, a pink sti badge for the front. And eventually I bought some used Sti Pinks off somebody off Nasioc:

I was ready to upgrade the turbo so I bought the walbro 255L per hour fuel pump and a great condition IHI VF-22 Off a member on nasioc. The VF-22 has no shaft play whatsoever and its really clean. Here are some pictures of all the stuff:

I installed the fuel pump myself (really easy job) and am going to leave the VF-22 and pinks to a professional shop.

I have an appointment tommorow (July 7, 2005) with a Northern California (Sacramento) based subaru shop called subaru specialists or s-squared (http://www.ss-ms.com/index2.html) to get the injectors and VF-22 installed as well as an ECUtek tune on CA 91 oct.

I will post numbers as soon as I get back tommorow! Im hoping to get around 260whp. here is my full list of mods:

Autometer Boost guage
Autometever fuel/air ratio guage
Blitz Nur Spec R catback
Cobb Tuning Accessport (stage 2 CA 91 oct.)
Cusco Turbo heat shield
Goodyear Eagle F1 235/45ZR17 Tires
Invidia downpipe
Helix Flex Uppipe
HR Springs
HKS SSQV BOV
TT Type 1 - US Spec Turbo Timer
K&N drop in
Perrin short throw shifter
Rota 17x7.5" Bronze Torque
STI fog light covers
STI CF side markers
STI Badge
STI Pink WRX Left Badging
STI Pink "I" Grille Badge
STI Rear license plate ring
Japanese front license plate
Walbro 255L p/h fuel pump

Dealer Options:
Leather

Very Soon:

ECUTek tune @ subaru specialists

and here are some pictures as it is right now:

2003 MBP!

You rock man.

So shiny. I like the NXT wax, so cheap for how well it works, I wax almost everyone other time I wash my car. I like to put it on in the shade it wipes off so easy that way! You have to work that extra mile when you own a black subaru.

Okay I got the car back a day later than expected... S-squared installed the injectors and turbo, they brought it off the lift, and it wouldnt start. Originally they thought it was something wrong with the fuel pump, but it was actually an ignition relay that burnt out.

I got the dyno sheet and I expected higher numbers but I guess im in need of an intercooler and possibly a shortram intake.

anyways, heres the sheet:

oh yeah, its on California 91 octane =/

Ok so my clutch went out last friday... so I ordered an Exedy street clutch kit

Also, when I was looking under my car I noticed that my front left tire was worn down to the thread. So I ordered a brand new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 235/45/YR17's. Here are some pics:

As I speak the exedy clutch and a brand new STI RA (special edition) Gearset (thanks gruppe-s!) along with a brand new bearing set and a brand new synchro set.

I cant wait to drive the car! I should have it back by friday the 12th!

Im gonna take it easy on this thing for a while sometimes I scare myself how much money I put into my car... But in the near future I plan on getting a V.7 STI TMIC along with some type of intake.

Okay so I just got my greddy front lip back from the shop. It looks great! Since my last uploaded pics I got tinted windows (20% all around), Painted Side Skirts, an STI hood scoop, and the greddy front lip. The exedy clutch is awesome! Also, the STI RA special edition gearset is in along with brand new bushing and synchro sets... this thing is rock solid now.. it shifts great! Tell me what you guys think of the new exterior parts.
