Got this car from my dad for christmas. My first Subaru, so any ideas on what to buy to make my car faster would help. Preferably cheap cuz im in college N i dont got much cash. Ive put only a few accesories on the car. This is my first Subaru so please dont be a smart *** towards me N help me out instead. Paint is alot worse than it looks in the picture, flaking everywhere. This is how i got the car.

 

To be honest, make the car all 1 color, probably it's original color if possible, and change the tail lights. Once you have that, your car will look extremely nice. And make sure you make the grill black.

 

Oh god. poor car. Dude I'm sorry for your misfortune. But all joking aside, I say strip off all the extra vinyls, put some stock tails on for now "cost is cheap" and fix all the rice. You can also buy some fog light covers on ebay for fairly cheap.

 

Got enough money to paint the car and gonna prepare it Took two days to sand it all down, and one last day to wrap it all up, wipe it down, and finally paint it. My trunk had holes in it from past spoilers so we took it off the car and worked on it. Put it back on the car and it was ready. The last day we did everything so i didnt put primer on everything. This was only a Stage1 paint job! Will have more pics up tommorow of the finished product when i pull my baby out the shop

i know this wasnt my idea. i got the car like this. it was a present. i do want a wing but idk which one to get or where to get it. i like the 06 sti ones but idk if it wud look gud on mine. any suggestions? and i HELLA wantt the fog lamp covers but dnt dey saySTi on them?

I'll find you some covers, and no they won't say STi on them unless you apply the vinyl.

i gota say, i never thought this impreza would have seen such a great owner that actually knows how to take care of the car. looks great so far!!

With a car like that, you don't worry too much about the speed. It's a bit embarrassing driving it as it is, unless you wanna look rice and then have a really fast car and just smoke people lol. Looking good man. It's nice to see someone fixing this car.

 

faster = wrx or sti swap = more money. i say make it look nice and clean and rock it like that for a while. Then do a swap
