Car Info: Subaru impreza sti 2004/ spec c/ vf 37 twin scroll
08 sti TMIC
-VF 37 twin scroll turbo charger
-Full hks hi-power exhaust system (silent)
-Catless down pipe
-Bosche 275 fuel pump accompanied with a fuel compressor (set at 3.10)
-K&N air intake (full system with induction and suction)
-Blitz dumb valve (adjustable)
-brimbo breaks, suspensions and etc.
-Stock 2004 sti IC accompanied with an I/C Spray (could be set on auto)
-6 gears electric (DCFD)
-Tuned with average boost of 1.4 bar (almost 22 psi) and timing of 24-26 (as far i believe)
-Average of 305 whp
-0-60 miles in 4.5 seconds average in night or cold weather.

I read in some threads about the sti 08 TMIC having larger core of 30% than 04 sti TMIC. I dono the releability of such info. If so, would that add noticeable difference by itself?
Any accompanied modifications required? (tuning, mechanical work in place of 04 TMIC or hood etc.)
What i am afraid of is a possibility of lower turbo spooling response? would it?
I hope it will come to b an advantage and not the other way around.
If any 1 got some past experience in that of replacing such IC would appreciate the elaborate.

Would there be any benefit installing it in the 1st place? Don't wana through bucks out in the air for nth.
