'07 Satin White Pearl STI - My Final Project

This thread will track the progress of my final Subaru project, as this will be my 4th and last Subaru I will own(hopefully . . .)

I have owned a 2002 PSM WRX sedan, a 2002 PSM WRX wagon, a 2005 CGM STI a (2005 Evo MR - my 1 cross-over to the other side) and now finally, this beautiful SWP '07 STI . . . all over the last 2 1/2 years! Obviously I have a thing for cars, especially fast ones!

Just picked up this 2007 STI about a month ago and I couldn't resist because I really think the Pearl color is beautiful and unique, you just don't see too many in this color.

Here are the current mods on the vehicle:
  • WRX trunk and spoiler
  • Cobb Downpipe
  • SPT Cat Back Exhaust
  • SPT Intake
  • RCE Camber Plates
  • Cobb AP w/ Pro Tune - 285hp, 270Tq at wheels
  • Subaru Boost Gauge
  • Gold BBS Alloys

The car runs pretty good, but could be a lot better and will be once Paul at dbTuned is done working his magic.

Here are some of the mods planned for the near future:
  • Cobb TBE
  • Perrin Upipe
  • Perrin Headers
  • Tein Suspension
  • Stock Airbox(bye, bye SPT CAI !!)
  • dbTuned Pro-Tune w/ Cobb AP
  • Greddy Dash Mounted Gauges

I will post new photos once the work has been completed, hopefully in the next couple weeks. . . . if I bug Paul enough!!

Mmmm, white and gold. Awesome combo. Lookin' good.

What type of dyno did those numbers come from? Mustang or Dynojet?

Mustang dyno. It was tuned by a VW Tuner in the Bay area by the previous owner - why he didn't take it to one of the many Subie tuners in the area I'm not sure??

Thanks for the feedback!

What modifications had been performed at the time the car was dynoed? Versus what parts you've added since. I'd like to see the numbers on a Dynojet and after any new changes, just for fun.

The mods it currently has are what ir was originally dynoed with. I have yet to make any additional mods - soon though. . . .

I have the dyno sheets showing the numbers, however I am suspicious as to the accuracy because it was performed by a non-Subaru specialist. We'll see how the numbers stack up once I make all the mods I have planned and get it on the dyno to tune.

There's a couple of ways:
1. Create a Photobucket or similar picture hosting account.
2. As I take pictures of the the work I perform, I'll host the pictures on my page.
