Its been a few weeks since my last post on the car....

We toke the old Sti out to the trac and it ran a 11.2@128+mph

The conditions were far from ideal, having various problems on each of the 1/4 mile passes, like intercooler hoses blowing off, boost leaks etc etc...On the last pass where we got the car to hook up it broke a CV axle.

Due to Mikes' tuning the car/powertrain ran great

I'm at a turning point...and have decided to change my setup once again....turning this car more into one bad *** STREET car vrs a trailer queen/racer.

As the car gets buttoned up i'll keep you guys updated, till then my lips are sealed.

Time to bump the thread, its been awhile.

Looks like i should be get car back in a few days from the shop to perform alittle break-in driving...as the last set of mods are just about done.

We did alot of work to the car over the summer...it will be interesting to see what new HP numbers and 1/4mile times we're able to pull outta her while still keeping the car streetable.

Details on mods??? Are you sticking with stage 3 cams, or are they not considered streetable??

Yes we are still running stage 4 cams, the rest of the setup has some what been upgraded to match these agressive cams.

Details, I'm not at liberty to say at this point.

Street races are bad.

Maybe you should run LFP on Hwy 50?

Well I hope your gonna do a nice write-up of the new set-up when it's up and running, complete with Dyno chart and time-slips. A build of your ambition really excites an armchair tuner like me.

Not likely Ron, he'd have to get better than a 2.2 60' to do that

Hahaha! The pressure is on Mark, I think Mike wants you to hit 1.5's and pull a 9.99!
