FYI, do **not** get your xbox modded if you plan on playing halo2 on xbox live. lots of halo2 players had there live accounts banned. apparently live checks the size of your HD among other things to determine if its been modded.

that is because they were playing burned copies of the games and they didn't turn the mod chips off.
If you want to play xbox live, you will need an ORIGINAL copy of the game and the mod chip has to be turned OFF.
that is the importance of having a mod chip that you can turn on and off. Some guys that do these chip installs can install an alternate LED. Like Red. So if you turn the xbox on and it lights up red.....DO NOT PLAY LIVE. if it's green...you're good to go.
If he can do this...I'll get my girls little brother's box done for christmas. I play it more than he does anyways...it's at my house now.

on xbox-scene a lot of people are saying Live now checks for upgraded HD's. even IF you turn off your mod chip AND use an original game you will still get banned.

Just had a matrix infinity installed in my PS2 by him. Super fast and clean worker. I dropped off the PS2 at 1pm, and at 2:30pm he gave me a call and told me it was done. I have an old V5 PS2 so not all of the functionality is there(as far as the infinity, it's a all singing all dancing modchip), but it plays dvd-r and dvd+r backups with no troulbes at all. It didin't care for +RW for some reason.

Beyond satisfied, I'll be calling him up for an Xbox tweak after the new year(have to let my pockets recover from the xmas pain lol)
