So I got bored and cut open my Sti cat back, In the middle of it there is a certain pipe thats the most restrictive, and muffling piece, SO I cut this out, cut out a few other things, (have pictures of all this I can email), then I had a muffler shop make me a 3 inch pipe from downpipe to axle back, we cut off as much as we could of the Sti Axle backs 2.5 piping and made it 3, so its 3 inch piping all the way to the first muffler exhaust hanger (trusting you know where it is). Its not quite as loud as I want to be, I dont want LOUD just a bit more rumble, dont get me wrong when you get on it, this exhaust sounds pretty sweet. Its on my car so you can hear it before any trades. No Watermelon launcher mufflers please =D

 

I have an helix I know its melon shooter but its a sick one. Lemme know (id like to hear your set up this weekend anyways, maybe we could work something out. I have been considering molesting a stock sti exhaust for a while now).

It only cost me $30, a friend hooked it up for me at a muffler shop. Im not completly sure what Im looking for it, make me an offer i cant say no to.

also has a completely stock look to it... which has to be part of the reason behind it. I'm very curious as to what it sounds like.. got any vids?

 

um no videos, I tried to put som pics up, but maybe Im special cuz i cant get it to work. Its cool I like it, only part I dont like is the fact it has to tapper down to 2.5 briefly before muffler, Idle sounds almost stock, 2.5k rpm + its got a growly rumble, id describe it as a power sound? rather than a loud exhaust sound. Its quiet but it growls, and spits and pops when you down shift, all the characteristics of a loud exhaust, just quieter.
