WTT/WTB/FS: 18" tires
So I just traded my wheels out for some sweet aggressive wheels. Unfortunately where I live the roads aren't very forgiving and I can't get my car too low so I need some meaty tires.
I have some 225/40/18 tires stretched out onto my 9" rims. Not exactly the best look for my setup and leaves me sitting too low for up here. So they are up for trade/sell/buy some tires. Will put cash on top where necessary.
I have:
225/40/18 Nankang NS-II tires. Around 60% thread if I were to guess, but has some camber wear on the inside from the previous owner having these tucked hellaflush. Overall I have been impressed with these tires from my 400 mile bayarea trip. They feel very comparable to my old Falken fk452's.
These would be good for someone who has 7-8" rims or is going for the hellaflush look and needs to tuck these in.
I want:
1. 255/35/18
2. 245/35/18
maybe. 235/40/18 or 245/40/18
Any brand or tire, can't really be too picky when you're strapped for cash. I just need something to live with on my DD.
TIA

Your a wheel **** man
every time I see your car you have another set on.
I am too looking for tires to finally put my new set of gold rota gravels. I'm looking at 255/35/18
245/40/18
245/35/18
can't make up my mind!

FYI, the 245/40 is going to be about 0.7-1" taller than the proper 245/35 or 255/35 fitment for our cars.
Taller tires=slower acceleration as a drawback.
But if I must, i'll settle for it.

cause if its a 9 inch i would go with the 245/35/18... but thats my personal preference... im getting 18x9.5 rota grids and am going to put 245/40/18's on mine...

245/35 is on the low end for my wheel. The recommended size for my 9" rim is 255/35/18 and that's what i'd like to get...otherwise maybe a 245/40/18 that can stretch a little.
