If your willing to trade straight across why not just hollow out the cat You can do it in a few minutes

i would rather have the straight through design instead of a section where the exhaust can "pulse"

plus why ruin a good cat, why not let someone else benefit because of it?

Catless downpipe

Why no trade for an HKS catless down pipe?
I understand the cost difference, but any other reason?

well like you said, first off cost difference,

secondly, hks is NOT a bellmouth, the restriction of flow at the wastegate is crucial, especially when your running an FP GREEN with a huge flapper =)

Dont know how helpful this would be, but I have a JDM length Helix catless Downpipe if you want to do a trade.

depending on condition and mileage, the COBB catted DPs go for some good cash (~400)...I'd say sell it and you can pick up a brand new catless TITEK or whatever and still have some cash
