thats right... i have a set of 05 sti brembos, with rotors, and hubs.... and want to trade for 04 sti brombos with rotors.

hubs are stronger on the 05. as well as changing the wheel bearings is easier

You have pm. I switched from 04's to 05's just because of the wheel bearing issue. There is a kit that changes from an 04 set up to an 05, but you have to get hub/bearings, rotors and then there is also the wheel bolt pattern issue. The kit also has the option of getting the 05 hub set up with the 5x100 bolt pattern so you can keep the same wheels. I haven't had to change bearing since.

 

How do u know ur wheel bearing is bad? Sorry if it's a noob question

 

can you fit a 05 brembo package on a 03 bugeye? i know that the 04 sti brem fit..

 

For the fronts you would need new rotors as they won't bolt up to the 5x100... Everything else will transfer over easily. Rears is a different story....
