So I'll probably need to get this from someone else other than shimmies as his dp has ~170K. Kinda too much for me to be comfortable about trying to pass smog with it.

80K or less would be more like it.

I did that last time but my hc's were still way too high. Not gonna chance it this time.

 

I'm in the same boat. I tried raising the idle and retarding the base timing with a 120k downpipe, added a bottle of ISO HEET and still failed the idle hc's. Other readings were good though.

So I'm going to look for a stock downpipe to borrow (beer of your choice?) or purchase outright.

 

I've got one off an 06 with low miles but I charge a fee now because I've had issues in the past with people..pm me if interested
